Logistics Administrator Jobs
Position Summary
Our Logistics Administrator will play a supporting role in the seafood marketing and sales team of O’Hara Corporation by tracking domestic and international shipments and their shipping documents and payments, providing data entry to in-house and online 3rd party databases, and supporting in customer communications. This person will be responsible for managing customer payments and timing of export documentation to ensure the smooth movement of freight via ocean cargo vessels, rail, and trucks.

Daily Responsibilities
- Enter production data from each fishing vessel offload into in-house database
- Enter production data into USDC Seafood Inspection Program (SIP) online database to generate export health certificates, certificates of origin, IUU catch certificates
- Create Fed-ex shipments and mail original shipping documentation to our international customer base
- Create customer invoice drafts
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipping document and payment timing to avoid demurrage at destination ports
- Monitor cargo vessel schedules to track our international shipment, documents, and customer’s payments
- Drive to Ballard and Sand Point for occasional document pickup

Requirements
- High degree of accuracy is an absolute necessity

Preferred Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of seafood domestic and export/logistics documentation experience to China, Japan, Korea, EU countries
- Experience with USDC Seafood Inspection Program (SIP) database
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., occasional overtime/weekend work as necessary
