Bering Sea Fish Processor (Dutch Harbor, AK)

O’Hara Corporation is looking for Fish Processors that are willing and able to work on board fish trawlers (catcher/processor boats), in the Bering Sea of Alaska. O’Hara fishes from January to about November, and requires it’s employees to work 75 day contracts.

Fish Processors are responsible for the following duties:
– Work 16.5 hr days, 7 days a week.
– Standing for long periods of time.
– Sorting fish, cutting of fish heads, working the slime line, packing fish, case up, and offloading (lifting and stacking).
Things we look for in Fish Processors:
1. Seafood processing experience (is a plus).
2. Physical work history (construction, farming, roofing, etc.).
3. Recent work history.

All crew is paid crew share: a portion of the money made when selling the fish.

**WE DO NOT HAVE SHORE PLANTS; ALL JOBS ARE ON BOARD BOATS**
